Troubleshooting
Fix common issues when adding or using knowledge sources.
I can’t upload a file
Check:
- the file is under 25 MB
- a team/project is selected
- you provided a title
If a file upload fails, try reloading and uploading again. If it persists, export the exact error from the browser console and share it with support.
My file is stuck in “Queued” or “Processing”
Ingestion is asynchronous. If it stays stuck:
- wait a few minutes and refresh
- re-upload the file (prefer a smaller version if possible)
Website analysis fails
Common causes:
- invalid URL (missing hostname)
- temporary network failures
- the site blocks crawlers or requires authentication
Try:
- pasting the canonical public URL
- switching the preferred language only if relevant
- analyzing again and saving once the preview looks correct
The bot answers incorrectly
Fix the source of truth:
- add/adjust a Q&A intent for the exact question
- make sure the workflow’s Knowledge bot node is pointing at the right sources
- remove overlapping/contradictory sources by archiving old items
